My heart stopped because I thought I was about to get accepted/rejected/WL. Nope!
ABSOLUTELY! Especially since I just requested an update not too long ago.

Like, really?

Just got my acceptance letter. Very nice scholly. I'd imagine a lot of people who went complete in late Dec/early Jan. are going to hear back soon.

Congrats! I have been feeling ghosted too haha. Hoping to hear soon! It's weird because they sent me an email encouraging me to apply for the Woodruff that specifically referenced my "outstanding application" so now I feel bitter I haven't heard back. Glad I am not alone in feeling that way though :)

Did anyone who got in today or over the past week also get the "Happy New Year" email?

See I went complete 12/5 but told them to hold for my dec score and I think they accidentally didn’t then corrected it.

completed my app in late Nov and still haven't heard anything. I live in germany at the moment (which is where my mailing address is) so the decision should come via email but my permanent address is listed as my home in Atlanta. I wonder if I'm not considered an international applicant because of that and am stuck waiting for the snail mail.

Apologies if this was answered already-- I scanned and didn't see it. Does anyone know if the Woodruff Nomination letter is read along with the rest of the application (so it could be a positive factor in admission), or is the Woodruff process completely separate?

I'm also wondering this. I feel like the Woodruff committee must have access to your full application file, as there is no special essay or anything for it. The instructions also say you shouldn't use one of your regular recommenders, which makes me think they want a different letter than your other two. I'm not sure if this is true the other way around (i.e. if the regular adcomm has access to your Woodruff letter).

Were you notified of their decision via email? I, too, applied ED and was not sure if I would receive my decision via mail or email.

Hi! I'm wondering if there is any AJD applicant have heard from Emory. I've submitted my application in December and was notified before Christmas that they've received my application. It said that they would sent me another email once they confirmed that my application was completed. But I haven't heard anything back. yet

After reading your post, I check it, read some new posts, and responded to someone who was talking to me there. It's working just fine.

LOL while I certainly wouldn't aspire to be such a cretin I probably wouldn't mind his
bank account. Must say that was a helluva coup d'é·tat I just witnessed. Crazy stuff.

Recently was put on the priority waitlist. Read through a couple older threads. Still can’t figure it out: how much movement in April, May, etc. is there?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
