I also won't go for anything less than a substantial scholarship.

But has anyone else been slow in getting a confirmation email from them? I applied 3 days ago now and I have nothing from them, not even an email confirming they received it. LSAC emailed to confirm it, and it says it went through on the website. I'm starting to worry it slipped through the cracks somewhere and I am about to email them to see. I've checker my spam folder as well. Every other I've applied to has promptly responded to confirm they received my application.

Applied via ED. Current status is "in review". Received 2 emails from the admissions office (1) to confirm the receipt of my application and (2) to provide log-in information to the online application status check.

Any idea on when they start rolling out ED decisions based on past cycles?

I'm in the same boat. From perusing threads from years past, it seems like all ED decisions are sent on December 15th.

I ended up emailing to confirm they received it. They said they did, and I received the usual confirmation email with my status checker information shortly thereafter. Not sure what happened, maybe just a mistake in the system somewhere.

PSA.

Logged into my status checker for no real reason today and saw that I’m “In Review.” Have no idea how long it has been like that, since I haven’t checked it due to last year’s timelines.

Applied RD. Only two emails I received were an initial received email followed by an application complete email both back in September.

Yet, still not getting too excited since earliest notifications were mid-late December last cycle, but maybe they will be earlier this year? :|

Mine has been "in review" since November 16 and I applied ED. I wonder if there is anyone here whose status says something different.

RD. Went complete 11/13, and just went UR today. Wondering if they're going to release decisions earlier this year since on last year's thread people weren't UR this early.

Hey guys. Checking in from the East Coast. Will complete the app sometime this week. I really don't know anything about California, so this is somewhat on a whim! I do have family in the area (one of whom is a lawyer) but I don't really know them that well. Already ED'd to Notre Dame, but if that doesn't work out I would definitely consider USC! Good luck to everyone.

Do you remember how long it took for your decision to come after you went in review?

How has your experience been up to this point? How were they with scholarships?
What's the culture like? ie do you like your classmates/professors?

Do you feel you'll be able to snag a 1L summer gig? If not, what about a 2L summer gig?

Would you choose USC again?

I visited and felt an overwhelmingly fratty vibe. Like SO MANY people still wearing fraternity social tshirts and hats with their fraternity letters on them. As a non-KJD, this really spooked me. Do you find that the law school has a more grownup vibe? I live in LA and I really love USC's programs, but that impression paired with my personal experience with every USC undergrad I've ever met has me REALLY REALLY nervous

I applied December 1s and got in around January 14th. I was in the first wave. I can't remember how long it took me from under review.

Are you sure you were in the first wave? According to LSN, there were a lot of people that heard back in December last year.

Would choose again. Everyone is nice. I have a lot of friends. The classes are interesting and the professors are very helpful as well. People even recognize me from TLS lol.

It's a lot more of a grown up world. I don't really see anyone wearing frat stuff here. People do wear stuff from their undergrads but not really frat stuff. Everyone is really nice. I love USC.
