Yeah unfortunately the LSAT was never my thing. Studied for over a year and wound up with 71st percentile my second time which doesn't reflect my GPA or involvements. Hoping other components of the app help my chances!!AvatarMeelo wrote:It’s TLS terminology - you’ll see plenty of it here especially since this is a very numbers driven board. Just to be clear, a reverse splitter would be someone who is at or above the 75th% for GPA, but below the 25th% for LSAT. You only indicated that you were above the 25th GPA which just makes us assume you’re below median, hence below-average. That being said, you’re also probably going to find a lot of people pushing for you to retake altogether.sophcap wrote:oh ok! I'm a reverse splitter then. Anyone else in the same boat? And wasn't looking to come on here and be called "below average" considering there's way more to an app than just the LSAT and GPA but call it what you want lol.

Hey, I feel this on a deep level. The LSAT is absolutely not my thing, and I do not think that it reflects my potential to do well in law school. Like you I also have a high GPA but a mediocre LSAT. I think these boards just attract people in the 97th percentile which is obviously only the case for the top 3% of testtakers.sophcap wrote:Yeah unfortunately the LSAT was never my thing. I think that would be lovely, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much.DCKMK13 wrote:What do we think about decisions coming out over thanksgiving?

I think you guys can expect acceptances very soon. I just got an e-mail inviting me to apply as a "Boston College Fast Track candidate" and guaranteeing a decision within 10 business days of the date my file goes under review.

also got the invitation too. Already had the app completed but decided I did not want to spend another $100+ on the application. Glad I waitedFN-2187 wrote:Also received the Fast Track option and I was about to send in application last night.

Do people receiving decisions today mind posting stats (or PMing) for the rest of us?

URM/4.5 years of active duty military service.
Above average-highly to highly unique softs
Not sure if I will stay on the waitlist. I don’t think I’m going to wait / BC doesn’t cover full tuition for 100% post-9/11 G.I. Bill.

GW's status checker changed to "Decision made" a couple of Fridays ago and didn't send out the decision emails until the following Monday. This is a mean game we're playing.Piggy11 wrote:Seems a tad mean not sending the email firstdylanca wrote:Decision Rendered as well.
