Congratulations!!!! President's scholarship, right?? That's fab.
Thanks so much! I'm not actually sure--they didn't say anything about that in the email, they just said the amount.

Political Science! Actually not at GW (yet). I've applied to 11 different PhD programs and 7 law schools, most of them overlapping. What about you?

Any other intl students here? I know things can be a little less predictable for us. I'm seeing people with mine and lower LSATs who applied after me get in with $$. No GPA so I'm wondering if that will be a delay.

Those are also my numbers. You've alleviated some of my fears about intl transcripts!

Did your status change first?

Religious Studies hopefully! I anticipate that I'll likely have to switch to a Masters though because a lot of responses I've heard have been somewhat less-than-enthusiastic since I can't speak German or French lol

In with $120k! I'm happy but I think that's not enough to make me consider, since I got a full tuition from WUSTL. However, DC is my goal so I will definitely negotiate and see what they can do (and use it to negotiate with GULC, where I'm also in!). 172/S

Yeah PhDs are so much trickier to get into than law school. I'd say go for the MA, make the most of the dual credits and get good recs, and learn a language! You'd be in a great spot to apply to your school's PhD program after.

Yes, I will need to negotiate as well. Do you know what that process consists of? I'm kind of confused about it.

Yes, my status changed to "decision made" on 11/17, and I submitted on 10/30(can't remember when UR). I just graduated from college, so my experiences are interns, research assistant, and volunteer works. My undergraduate major is law, and I was an exchange student to an American law school for a semester. I know it's super anxious for international students because the application seems very unpredictable...I can't sleep well for many days...This is also my first offer, but for how it turned out, the international transcript won't do harm to the application. Hope this can help. Good luck! You'll definitely get a good offer from GWU!!!

I submitted a little before that, which is why I'm nervous about not hearing. I've got an MA and work experience, although I took the LSAT 3 times (health issues). I actually applied last year but super late. It was a reaaallly bad cycle for international students, so unpredictable and with so many rejections for great applicants, so also why I'm p nervous! I am REALLY happy to see an international student succeeding!! Well done you!!

Previous years they had a form for scholarship reconsideration, it should be available in February

In with $105,000!!! It is not nearly enough for it to be financially viable, but I'm really fucking happy to have gotten in at all. I will definitely be negotiating, but it sounds like everyone else will as well. Any idea when the negotiation process normally begins?

In with a decent scholarship. I was curious about living costs in D.C. and almost had a heart attack looking at apartment prices. Does anyone know what most GW Law students do for housing?
