I was accepted today but there was no scholarship information attached. I assume that means $0 in aid but it just seems odd that they completely left it out. I wasn't expecting much but at least something to help with its price. Should I email them?

It included the scholarship amount in the second paragraph of the email and I think that's the case with everyone else who got scholarships. Mind if I ask what your stats are? If you aren't far below medians, you should have at least received something.

My lsat is a 159 and my gpa is a 3.76. Yeah there was nothing in the second paragraph about scholarship information.

I am not sure what most students do, but if I end up there I will definitely be living in Maryland and commuting in on the Metro. This will by far be the most affordable way, and GW is just blocks from a station so it is not crazy inconvenient, other than relying on the Metro in general. But you can find apartments for practically half the price in Maryland suburbs right outside of D.C. (like 30-45 min to get to school from apartment). I have been looking at the Metro path and then looking for housing based on that, and if you go out to the end of any line, there is affordable housing. Hope this helps!

Another option if you're really keen on living in the District (not pushing it - I live in Maryland - but just an FYI) is to live off metro lines. If you're in more bus-only areas of the city, it can dramatically impact prices. Check out far west end around Foxhall Village. Very quiet and charming, quick bus ride to campus or could ride bike if that's an interest.

Omg congrats!!! That's amazing!!

Those are also my numbers. You've alleviated some of my fears about intl transcripts!

Did your status change first?
Yes, my status changed to "decision made" on 11/17, and I submitted on 10/30(can't remember when UR). I just graduated from college, so my experiences are interns, research assistant, and volunteer works. My undergraduate major is law, and I was an exchange student to an American law school for a semester. I know it's super anxious for international students because the application seems very unpredictable...I can't sleep well for many days...This is also my first offer, but for how it turned out, the international transcript won't do harm to the application. Hope this can help. Good luck! You'll definitely get a good offer from GWU!!!
I submitted a little before that, which is why I'm nervous about not hearing. I've got an MA and work experience, although I took the LSAT 3 times (health issues). I actually applied last year but super late. It was a reaaallly bad cycle for international students, so unpredictable and with so many rejections for great applicants, so also why I'm p nervous! I am REALLY happy to see an international student succeeding!! Well done you!!
Not an international student here, but like you have advanced degrees, work experience, etc. and also haven't heard back. Like you, I also applied earlier as than many of those who heard back yesterday. I'm choosing to hope I'm being YP-ed rather than sat on a shelf somewhere. But also trying to remember sometimes it is just random. I think there are many people in our similar boat.

Yeah there's other people on LSN who applied at the same time/before who haven't heard back yet. My status hasn't even changed to decision made. I don't get it, but it's probably just completely random.

So if there was no scholarship info in the acceptance email, does that mean there's no chance for any to come in the future?

Good lord admissions is taking their time on decisions.

Is there anybody else here that has applied ED?? It says on their website that ED applicatns get "priority review", but what exactly does that mean? How long have people been waiting to hear back that applied ED?

Thank you!!

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be taking so long? It's such a big gap between waves compared to previous years

Tracker just changed to "Decision Made" but I am guessing I won't receive an email until tomorrow.

Complete 10/18, UR 10/30. 164/3.0, expecting a waitlist.

So true, but I believe the last wave only waited a day to hear, so hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
