OK like wow. Can we please do an EDII wave tomorrow so it'll be 4 days of decisions in a row? Kay.

I submitted early September and have been stuck at UCR2 since 11/30. Every time I get a new email, I brace for impact!

Time to start obsessively checking Twitter on the off chance of EDII decisions today! Woohoo!

My guess is it's as early as today and as late as next Friday, with Wednesday-Friday being the most likely.

Hello all! I am an ED2 applicant. Just received an email two hours ago to setup a Skype interview. Can anyone shed any light on what this might mean? Or what the interview entails?

Side note: If all ED2 decisions come out together. It won't be this weekend because the two days I was asked to choose between for the interview were Monday and Tuesday.

Thanks!

I think (not 100% sure) Penn ED interviews are for borderline applicants. I think I saw that somewhere in this thread

Stats? If you're comfortable of course. I'm borderline as well. No interview. 3.4x and 169.

But Penn really does seem to take a more holistic approach. Maybe the OP didn't shed enough of his/her personality in the initial app that was submitted.

Nice score! You're probably in good shape at a lot of schools that love high LSATs (e.g. NYU). I'm definitely on the lower end of borderline.

Are any current Penn students lurking here in the JD/MBE program?

I had an interview request for EDI and was accepted so I can share my experience! I am a reverse splitter and I didn’t write a why Penn essay. I felt the interview really wanted to know the answer to that particular question. I was prepped on answers to personal flaws and strengths in my app but the only question that was asked was what about Penn interested me. I referenced different clubs that interested me and programs Penn offered. Just research about the school and what about it would make you a good fit.

As for acceptance timeline, my interview was on Monday and I was accepted the following Monday (1 week).

Good luck!!!

@aboveandbeyond and everyone else who did some ED and an interview request: did you write a why Penn? I did, no interview. I really was hoping decisions would come out today but it looks like that's not happening.
