You're not the only one: I'm in the same boat. I certainly don't think it's a good sign, but I'm also getting the sense that perhaps Penn's timeline is a bit further behind than the other schools I applied to.

Also dinged today, but I had already resigned myself to that probable outcome, so not feeling to bad about it surprisingly.

Notified via email, had been UR2 up through this afternoon.

Surprised about WL with your stats. You think it's YP?

Idk, I wrote a Why Penn but I've also been accepted by every other T-14 school besides HYS. I feel weird claiming to be a good enough of an applicant to get YP *shrug*

Maybe they somehow picked up on the fact that I don't actually want to go there and my parents "encouraged" me to apply? Who knows.

I can't help but think, given the WLs and dings today, that my app doesn't stay standing much longer. All I can ask is that they hold off until I get some more good news.

When did you apply? Have you gone UR2? If yes, when?

Applied 12/2, UR2 1/9. With most of my t13 apps, I'm pretty sure the question will revolve around whether the find me compelling enough to keep a super splitter on ice for later. Only time (and eventually the adcoms) will tell.

I have the opposite feeling - haven’t been rejected yet! There have been at least two rejection waves and I dodged both somehow. That gives me hope if anything.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
