I hope this is true, and I'd love to know the exact nature of this grapevine. Do you know one of the, umm, "wine quality control" officers?

Do we know if this is supposed to be ED or RD?

ED. Someone had an interview and the adcom told him/her.

Disclaimer: I was not the person interviewed, this is a second-hand source.

That adcom owes us an explanation. I've wasted a perfectly good afternoon.

Mine changed to UR2 12/6 as well (complete 11/16). Finally some movement! Hoping this means a pre-xmas decision

Is it generally bad news if it doesn't change to UR2?

No--it'll take some time, regardless. It doesn't have to be bad news: could just be that you're in a separate stack on the pile or something of that nature. It's still very early in the game. Don't sweat it!

Same here - hope we hear before Christmas

Reckless speculation on my part, but, looking at last year's data, I'm thinking the early UR2s will hear before Christmas and the rest of us in early January or later
+2 on going UR2. I feel surprisingly happy for someone to whom nothing real or tangible has happened.

Same. Based on the pattern of the last three cycles, we should have decisions by tomorrow at the earliest, and Friday at the latest!
