It hasn't been 8 weeks on mine (complete on 10/18) but I guess a decision is coming faster because I'm ED. When I spoke to an adcom at the forum she said that ED decisions will be out before January 1.

Penn, if you're reading this, please have a wave by the end of this week so I can go back to being a productive member of society.
Looking at past forums, it seems pretty likely ED decisions will come out next week.
Someone on Reddit said he spoke to an adcom who said this week for ED. But yeah, could have been a troll since this week is surprisingly early.

Oh shoot!

I am in under Committee Review starting today.

What's the turnaround time?

Is this a good sign?

Yeah, past three years have released ED decisions on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of December, so that’ll be early next week. I’d love it if I knew by the end of the week, but if the pattern sticks, well Know next week!

Data point: Complete 10/31, UCR1 11/17, UCR2 12/6. I am a borderline candidate, though, so maybe they are just going in order of completion.

Yeah it sounds like it's order of completion for RD. And all ED people are UCR2 at this point.

UCR2 is not in order of completion. I was complete before you, UCR1 at the same time, and am not UCR2.

Damn, my bad, losing track of all these status updates. I wonder how they decide the order in this case.

It may be "relatively" in order to completion. My dates aren't too far off of yours for completion and UR 1 so if it changes to UR 2 by early this week I'd still say it may be a fair hypothesis!
