Maybe so! Looks like it's not a straight across numbers correlation so maybe they're going in order (which is completely fair). I didn't submit til 10/22 or so.
UR1 still & above 75ths. Submitted at end of Oct, so it might be a completion date thing
I believe I submitted, and went UR1 the same day as you. Still UR1, but you also have better stats than I do.

When we say we are UR2, does that mean that the status checker has changed from "Under Committee Review" to something else or that the status date has changed? Sorry if this has already been addressed.

It still says Under Committee Review, but the date changed.

Well, the budget opened up a little, and with the fee waiver, it's worth a shot. Checking in!

Good luck! Are you ED or RD? Does Penn normally interview RD applicants?

It was scheduled to be 20 minutes, but ended up being under 10. I did not write a Why Penn, so it was almost entirely about guaging my interest in Penn specifically and making sure that I understood some of the campus culture, having visited, or interacted with any current students.

I applied ED. I think they interviewed a few last year. They’ve typically only interviewed off of the WL, but have been doing more the last year or two.

Do you need to go UCR2 before being admitted, or is it possible to skip from UCR1 to Decision? I went UCR1 on the first day but am anxiously awaiting UCR2.

I'm surprised people aren't concerned with smaller measures of progress. Like UCR1 and UCR1.1 (this measures the difference between getting a status update online and getting the email about that status update). There is likewise the UCR2 and UCR 2.1. For those with interviews, of course, we have the UCR2.1i. If you have emailed admissions yourself to get any sort of personal update, you signify that with the month, day, and hour of sending, then (when applicable) the month, day, and hour of response—all of this trailing the previously mentioned format like so: UCR2.1i.11.4.4PM-11.8.9PM. There are other things you could add on, but that would be ridiculous, in my opinion.

tl;dr: chillll outtttttt
