Dads always tend to take it hardest. I speak from experience. Hope you're ok...

I totally understand and appreciate that they’re doing LGBT outreach but standard mail really, really isn’t the best medium without letting people opt-in first.

Does anyone know if a Dean's cert required with the application? If so, how long do you have to send it in?

No, it’s not required with your app.TRH189 wrote:Does anyone know if a Dean's cert required with the application? If so, how long do you have to send it in?

Checking in. As of yesterday all grad school apps for K-H applicants should be in and complete.

Re: Stanford Law Applicants c/o 2021
I've been putting off submitting for so long because I just can't think of anything good to write for the optional essays. Shamelessly looking for validation for submitting without them. Have been people done this? Or should I just try to write something half-hearted? All I have now is a pretty straightforward, boring answer to the library question.

Stanford is known for wanting people to demonstrate interest (they want an LOR specifically for them, etc.). I don't think the point is for us to blow their minds with these pretty informal prompts. I'd just submit it.sailcar wrote:I've been putting off submitting for so long because I just can't think of anything good to write for the optional essays. I would just submit something to tell them they’re special.
-1L at SLS that didn’t submit them and only got in off the waitlist once (s)he sent a compelling letter of continued interest

Checking in! 172/S International, applying for SLS+KH. Anxiously waiting, probably long shot.

Re: Stanford Law Applicants c/o 2021
I met with Dean Deal a few weeks back. She is incredibly nice and of course very knowledgable about SLS and law school more generally. I don't know how much it will help one's application but it certainly would not hurt (unless you have absolutely no interpersonal skills) and it should be very informative regardless.nixbaby wrote:has anyone met with someone from admissions in palo alto? ATTENTION KH APPLICANTS
Per their IG Bio, the 100 KH finalists will be decided on/by December 15th. I don't know whether this coincides with admissions decisions, but I thought it relevant to flag.

Does Stanford’s online status check ever change from “submitted for review,” or is that the equivalent of Under Review? I’m a KH applicant so presumably it should be under review in anticipation of the 12/15 decision, but I’ve been at “submitted for review” for a couple of weeks now.

I've had that status since 10/10. I'm >99% sure they've read my app at this point, esp with 12/15 coming up.ha8845 wrote:Does Stanford’s online status check ever change from “submitted for review,” or is that the equivalent of Under Review? I'm a little curious if K-H finalists will all be definite admits or some will be on the borderline and accepted if K-H likes them enough. I imagine the second case is definitely possible.KENYADIGG1T wrote:I've had that status since 10/10. In my humble opinion, if you are among the finalists you are basically already admitted to the school.theharleyquinn wrote:I'm a little curious if K-H finalists will all be definite admits or some will be on the borderline and accepted if K-H likes them enough. It is harder to say whether or not if you are not among those finalists you will hear something soon after from SLS, since they basically screen together every profile right? Or just the best ones?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
