Thanks and good luck to you! I couldn't believe it. I did apply early decision NON binding, but still didn't think it would be that fast. I applied to 5 other schools, so figure it will be a while before I hear back from the others.magic wrote:Checking in. Sent in my app a few days ago & currently in review.

I applied early binding decision (Arizona kid who has been travelling since 19 and now 30... I want to go home). I requested they hold off on a decision until my September LSAT score drops.

Re: ASU c/o 2021 applicants
I was accepted two days before taking the LSAT again on September 16 - I took a huge chance letting them review it without the new LSAT score, but I'm so glad I did! It is such a huge relief to have an acceptance. Now, no matter what, I'm going to law school! I've applied to a bunch of other schools but honestly didn't think I would get in anywhere. Now I'm excited to see what could happen. Congrats to everyone else!

Re: ASU c/o 2021 applicants
So great that ASU is giving out these quick responses. I wish the other schools would do the same. I applied to four in CA, and haven't heard anything. I'm starting to lean hard towards ASU. I was born and raised there, and I feel like their beliefs and policies match up with mine perfectly. Taking a tour of the campus on the 20th of Nov.
Good luck to those still waiting or yet to apply!

Any opinions on ASU? Got in with full ride but unsure what to make of the school itself....

It's a solid choice if you want to practice in AZ. The cost of living there is fairly low, especially when compared to cities of a similar size. At the margins, there even seems to be a decent chance at finding a job in southern CA. I am from Salt Lake, so I am considering attending due to how close to home Phoenix is.grrlater wrote:Any opinions on ASU? Got in with full ride but unsure what to make of the school itself....

In by phone call an hour ago. Super excited. Congratz! I'm touring the school on Nov 20th when I'm in town visiting family. I want to ultimately work in SoCal, so very interested to hear about their success in job placement out of state.
Cheers

The new downtown law building is pretty impressive. I hope to land a job in downtown Phoenix. Enjoy your tour!Rllesueur wrote:Cmoney $$ wrote:In by phone call an hour ago. Super excited. Re: ASU c/o 2021 applicants
And. Lurking. Ends. Now.
Congrats on your respective acceptances!
I was also accepted yesterday - I spoke with their admissions rep at the DC LSAC Forum in July and thought why not apply?
Now that I'm in and drilling deeper into their employment stats, etc. I'm noticing that it's a real feeder into the Arizona market. Obviously regional schools are a great choice if you're dead set on the area, but is this not a great choice for someone looking to end up in a different market? The offer they made me was indeed generous so I don't want to discount the school, but I want to learn more about it from people besides admissions reps.
Again, congrats all!

Does everyone who applies for the O'Connor Honors Program get an interview? Or is the school asking for an interview a step in the direction of being considered?
