Don't know if you noticed but every schools thread has been hit by the same couple of people
and I already busted 2 of them for having "join" dates dating back 4-5 years and they went and changed their join dates.
Total scam.........

Once upon a time, there was a story about how little Jonny wanted to go to top-law-schools.com, a robust town eastward bound as he tried to flee the ravages of censorship, and douchebag autocrats in his hometown.

You sure the ones who used to "populate" the lounge are 0L's given that the primary TLS posters invading each and every thread
were listed as belonging for 4-5 years? All I know is that I have even done a "Whois" and it doesn't show this Barnes guy as owning them,
though I do see his ads pop up, along with a lot of other ads...... As I said I could care less and the new site seems just as usefull but it still
seems like a full on hijacking. C'est la guerre...... Crowd think is an amazing thing.

Has anyone ever heard of someone under both medians getting into UT? I'm a current first year grad student at UT right now and applied into the dual degree, URM, in-state, and strong PS, rec letters, softs, etc. Gonna retake the LSAT next Saturday to hopefully get around the median but just in case I don't, has that been the case, even if rare?

Happens at least some of the time for URMs--http://texas.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1718

Hadn't noticed they were so harsh on folks below both medians.

Bright side is that if you break 167 you're probably golden--good luck. :)

In with a phone call today!! Does anyone know how long it takes for the acceptance email to come? Will scholarship offers be included with that email?

I honestly really like UT and want to study there. But my sights as of now are set on working in LA. I know UCLA/USC are the clear top choices for someone wanting to work in LA, but would anyone happen to have any insight on the UT to LA move and how realistic of an aim it is?

Also, for those interested in stats and application process: I applied 1/20, interviewed 1/26, accepted 2/7– 3.67|169

They said that the email with scholarship would come in 3-4 weeks from acceptance phone call.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back about scholarship negotiation?

It's definitely doable seeing as outside of the Texas bar, NY and CA are right behind TX in terms of pass rates and people taking it from UT. But, I think UCLA might be your best bet considering it's only 1 ranking behind UT and it's much easier to end up in LA if you're already in LA

Hey, did you contact admissions directly? Or did you complete the scholarship reconsideration form? Not sure how I should go about negotiations.
