I honestly really like UT and want to study there. But my sights as of now are set on working in LA. I know UCLA/USC are the clear top choices for someone wanting to work in LA, but would anyone happen to have any insight on the UT to LA move and how realistic of an aim it is?

Also, for those interested in stats and application process: I applied 1/20, interviewed 1/26, accepted 2/7– 3.67|169

They said that the email with scholarship would come in 3-4 weeks from acceptance phone call.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back about scholarship negotiation?

It's definitely doable seeing as outside of the Texas bar, NY and CA are right behind TX in terms of pass rates and people taking it from UT. But, I think UCLA might be your best bet considering it's only 1 ranking behind UT and it's much easier to end up in LA if you're already in LA

Hey, did you contact admissions directly? Or did you complete the scholarship reconsideration form? Not sure how I should go about negotiations.

Is UT still interviewing this late in the cycle? Or do they only have a limited number of subscriptions for Kira?

I've been complete since 1/22 and have not heard anything.... both numbers below the 25%s - should I expect a rejection at this point?

For those who interviewed, how soon after the interview did you get a decision?

Have any of you who are waitlisted candidates been admitted yet? My stats come in below UT's medians but I'm clinging to my spot on the waiting list!

Nope, I haven't heard anything! It's strange because last year WL'd applicants got in by now!
