In case you missed it in the accepted email, admitted students can request a free copy of the dean’s book “the legal analyst”

I heard scholly info was to be anywhere from first week in Jan to Jan 19.
So here's to hoping.... it should come via email I would think but not sure.

Is that only for the first wave? Or for everyone accepted up to that date? I got in on the 4th.lawdaddy1 wrote:I heard scholly info was to be anywhere from first week in Jan to Jan 19.

Also, has anyone heard anything of travel stipends? I read somewhere that they are merit based...but does anyone know amounts?

We all had super similar questions:lawlover96 wrote:congrats!! Do you remember what questions were asked?alykdesire wrote:Is it too much to hope for an acceptance call today even though I only interviewed yesterday?
1) Favorite course in college
2) Why Law
3) Why Texas (written)
Was that it? I feel like I'm missing one?
EDIT: What are you passionate about? That's the one I'm missing.

So has anybody gotten in yet without interviewing? It seems like every admitted person has interviewed, but I'm hoping to be proved wrong.

I've lurked on TLS for a while and never really posted, but I thought I'd give some hope to anyone who was experiencing radio silence from Texas! I'm OOS and applied in mid/late October. I didn't hear anything until this past Sunday when I finally got the interview request. I did the interview the next day and received the call today that I'm in! I felt pretty good about the interview, but definitely didn't expect to get a response this soon after! Really excited about this one since I totally thought from the silence that I was getting dinged. Congrats to everyone who's in and good luck to everyone still waiting!

Got my call this afternoon!
Also, to people who still have to do their interview, mine was the first Kira interview that I did and it went TERRIBLY. Like maybe the worst and most awkward interview of my life. So don’t stress too much if you feel like yours isn’t going well!

Thanks! I submitted 11/26, got the interview request on 11/27, interviewed 12/11. Nothing on my status checker ever changed.
Also, in state, no why Texas.

I got an email confirming UT received my app on 1/4 but still haven't gotten an email regarding a status checker. Is this delay typical or should I send an email their way?

Are you supposed to fill out the 'Get a UT EID' form on the status checker? Is it not like other schools where they give you a temporary password in an email?ljalba wrote:https://law.utexas.edu/admissions/apply/Zero Hedge wrote:I got an email confirming UT received my app on 1/4 but still haven't gotten an email regarding a status checker. They will send you a login in with the status checker. It took them about a week to send me mine.Zero Hedge wrote:Are you supposed to fill out the 'Get a UT EID' form on the status checker?
