I thought so. I haven't actually started the application yet. Still getting everything in order on LSAC. Maybe they got rid of it.NavyNuke wrote:Is summer start still a thing?Tavorak wrote:If I apply and select both summer and fall start, will that hurt or help the amount of scholarship money? Also, their admissions materials are some of the best I've seen. The fee waiver email was super personable.

They also have the best website I've seen. It's so informative about Michigan and Ann Arbor and it's organized so well. Basically, everything Michigan Law does is perfect and they're perfect, lol.sev wrote:

Got a waiver and promise of a big package of literature, so I'll send them an app so that they can reject me.

None of that negativity here! You’ll send them an app so they can probably accept you.HenryHankPalmer wrote:Got a waiver and promise of a big package of literature, so I'll send them an app so that they can reject me.

This is exactly how I feel. I really vibe with UM, but I'm such a sucker for warmth and sunshine.Jack_Kelly wrote:If I pretend I don't care about being close to friends and could afford it, UM is far and away my top choice. As is, idk.

Been waiting on that big packet for over a month now. Even though I have submitted my app, I still check for it with anticipation everyday...
Nothin'...

The packet is rather large. I went to cornell for undergrad and we have a history of sending kids to Michigan Law (Ann Coulter LOL) and the dean of the law school hand signed the letter and wrote "we love our cornell grads" which was pretty cool/touching. Overall the packet similar rather similar to stuff undergrad schools send kids wanting to apply. If anything i just think its to get ppl that Michigan knows will help/want for their class and to make sure they apply.

Spent last night sending photographs of the UM Law library and quad to my parents and sisters, which they are now calling "Hogwarts Law."

I do not mean to burst your bubble, but Michigan sends handwritten "We love our X grads" to everyone they send materials to from every undergrad institution.newyork14 wrote:Also went to Cornell and received the same note! As an Ohio State grad, I can tell you that they don't claim to love us- instead, my note said, "Don't let football rivalries keep you away!" hahaSopranoSaxophone wrote:I do not mean to burst your bubble, but Michigan sends handwritten "We love our X grads" to everyone they send materials to from every undergrad institution.newyork14 wrote:Also went to Cornell and received the same note!
