Still waiting. People are getting in who submitted just a little bit before me now, so I’m hoping to be in a wave later this week. Fingers crossed.

CONGRATS to all of the admits :D

Comforted to know you're still waiting too... at least that means they didn't just decide I suck and skip over my app completely

Submitted 9/17, received status checker 10/11, still sitting at complete.
Median LSAT, above 75th GPA. Getting frustrated but trying to tell myself it's still super early

I'm at/just under 25th GPA, very above 75th LSAT (175). kind of nervous they'll leave me to the end, tbh, IF they accept me at all.

I'm right below the median LSAT and between the 50th and 75th for GPA, so I'm nervous that I'll get left too...

I'm still waiting with a 173/3.78, Why Mich, Midwestern ties, and submission on 9/2. In at Duke, $$$ at UVA, so I know there's nothing major wrong with my app.

....wut. Genuinely pretty upset.

It is DEFINITELY really early.

That said, I hear you on the stress. I've had a lot of people I work with (law firm) say "with your numbers, you're golden" - I'm sure you hear that too. What I actually found most helpful was the ONE associate who told me law school applications are a crapshoot. Yes, numbers are important, but they guarantee nothing. It's not unlike grad school - you get in where you get in partly through random chance and the vagaries of admission committee whims. Keeping this in mind has been helpful in calming the crazy woman currently shrieking inside my head 24/7.

So true. I have a friend with similar numbers to mine who was rejected from Cornell, UVA, Duke, and Michigan. He's now a 1L at Harvard.

That's so frustrating! Is that a YP thing? I only heard about that concept here so not sure how prevalent it really is, but that's terrible because I'm sure many people (myself included) would seriously consider turning down "dream schools" like HYS if the price is right with lower ranked (but still top!) schools!!

I really don't think it was YP for him, he had a 170. I think for whatever reason he just had a super unpredictable cycle, reinforcing that admissions really is a crapshoot.

Hair below median LSAT and at 75th GPA, wrote for their diversity prompt and Why Michigan...from Midwest, and would genuinely love love love to go to Michigan. Definitely my number one. But I'm expecting that waitlist. They are very clearly focusing on numbers to move up/secure their rank, so I don't think they will love my LSAT :/

Median GPA and Median LSAT... Sitting here since my app went complete in 10/11. Wondering whether there is some red flag in my app because the same scenario happens to my UVA app too.

I see my attempt to coax an acceptance from Admissions Cat by leaving cat treats out overnight was not successful. I shall try again tonight.

Try leaving out a whole fish, maybe Admissions Cat doesn't like processed food. Good luck.

It's gotta be canned tuna and it only works for UVA, haven't you seen Mindhunter?

Does anyone know whether sending a post-admission Why Mich for scholarship purposes is advisable? I did not write one originally, although I am fairly certain that I could make it convincing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
