Waitlisted with 171/3.64. Honestly very disappointed because this was my first choice.

I think the consensus is that they sent them out at first and stopped in late October.latinxlawschool2020 wrote:HEY everyone. is there a status checker for UCLA??? I didn’t get an email for it and its been complete for weeks ?????

Do not reach out.nosurprises23 wrote:I interviewed with UCLA a month ago, complete a few days before that. They said they'd get back to me "probably within a month". Should I reach out? Or will that seem annoying?

But I interviewed over a month ago : (heyduchess wrote:nosurprises23 wrote:Do you think it's a bad sign they haven't got back to me yet?
It's only the first week of December! So, nope!
A lot of us haven't heard back yet. It sounds like they just had their hands full with ED apps, so I wouldn't sweat it!
I feel like a hypocrite saying this (because I've been the worst about reading into things!), but there's no benefit in reading into timelines. We'll hear back!
It's not a bad sign.nosurprises23 wrote:Do you think it's a bad sign they haven't got back to me yet?
Yeah, unfortunately. I am sure they take all of that into account.urmlaw17 wrote:If i was waitlisted, do you think UCLA read all my addendums and optional essays?

I applied on Sunday (12/10) and got a status checker yesterday so they're still sending them out.heyduchess wrote:I think the consensus is that they sent them out at first and stopped in late October.latinxlawschool2020 wrote:HEY everyone. is there a status checker for UCLA??? Hey! 1L here, I accepted a distinguished scholars offer last spring. The interview was intimidating just because it was with a panel of law professors, but I didn't really know what to expect going in. It was more intense than other interviews I had done with other schools, but don't let that scare you! Just try to relax and answer their questions as honestly and comfortably as you can. My questions were really tailored to my specific background so it was really easy to talk about. They also had me do some logic puzzles on the spot. I didn't have a pencil and paper on me, which put me at a disadvantage, but I was able to get by.gobears18 wrote:Hi all! I applied to distinguished scholars program and just found I got an interview. Is this good? Any tips on prepping? Thanks!
Hmm, well I didn't do any of that. It was just Dean Schwartz and an admissions person...lazarzhr wrote:Hey! 1L here, I accepted a distinguished scholars offer last spring. Don't worry too much; UCLA had the fastest turnaround for me too last year; my other apps took up 'til late January to hear back about, but they went fine.lawschoolapps7777777 wrote:In via a phone call from the Dean this morning!
Submitted 11/27, completed 11/28. The turnaround seems awfully fast to me... and makes me worry that much more about my other apps that have been radio silence since early Nov...
