How accessible is faculty, generally? Is it easy to schedule appointments to talk with them about the classes or about their research interests?
All of my professors have an open door policy, so they’re pretty much always available to talk and they love talking about their interests. Although there was one student who was told to stop coming to a professor’s office so much haha but I think he was going like every day and with no actual questions.
Do people do Research Assistanships or Supervised Research or something like that? Sorry if this is dumb, I don't know if that is a thing in law school.
Obvious disclaimer that I am a 0L, but with my "Dean's fellowship" I have a guaranteed part time research assistant position for either summer or a semester, so I think it's safe to say they have them.

As a 1L I'm not sure if you can answer this or not, but do you tend to get a national spread of firms at OCI or are they almost all located within the Midwest/New York?
Yeah I’m not totally sure, but I can tell you the school is at least saying they’re trying as hard as they can to be a nationally-reaching school. The top two places where employers come from are Chicago and New York, but there’s also a student org called something like “Pathways to the West” and its main goal is to get people jobs in Cali, Washington, etc. But yeah, I haven’t seen OCI yet unfortunately

Is that part of your financial package or is it on top of the presented offer?

The RA position is on top of the full tuition and stipend.

Same!

Is it normal to not get any scholly info with the acceptance? Or should I read into it that I just bombed the September test and my LSAT email is about to kill me?
I got my scholarship email exactly a week after I was accepted.
Do scholarships require a separate application via the financial aid form?

I talked to the assistant dean at the Chicago LSAC forum, I asked about placement. They said much of these numbers are from self selection. She said that they typically never have problems landing people in NYC/DC/Chicago/Cali/South (within reason), but that a lot of the students attending choose to go elsewhere. So take these numbers with a grain of salt.

Yep, most of my classmates know exactly where they want to go already, usually based on where they came from. And the career services dept. seems to be willing and able to help you find a job pretty much anywhere you want (again, within reason).

Enjoy HYS.

Also. For everyone. In the interview, Do they ask anything tricky? Or just the basic “why Law School” “Why WashU” ?

The questions they ask are in the OP. Nothing tricky!
