It’s a pretty fast turnaround. I think mine took a week. I believe some have stated even as few as a couple of daysAspire wrote:In! First acceptance, feels good... Interviewed last week. At what point do you hear about scholarship offers?

Mine was was pretty quick and chill. Just fit, why law, talking about St. Louis kind of questions. Then I asked about some clinics, etc. Nothing to stress over.dietcoked wrote:Nice!!Aspire wrote:In! Look on their website. Find somethings you like about the school hopefully something that is unique to the school. Clinics are a good option. Think about your future goals. Want to do a clerkship or go to NYC? Mention that. When it comes to talking about yourself, just be honest. People like honesty.dietcoked wrote:Nice!!Aspire wrote:In! First acceptance, feels good... Thanks, both!! I wrote a pretty detailed Why Wash U so I'm afraid I'll sound redundant, but I'm happy to hear that it's pretty laidback.Wiscundergrad wrote:Look on their website. Anyone planning to visit WUSTL at a time other than their admitted students weekend? I'm trying to break up my visits and am planning to go Monday, February 12th if anyone wants to join me!

Does WUSTL notify about scholarship amount whether you're getting one or not? As in, do they send an email saying you're *not* getting one?

Has anyone in the December waves not gotten their scholarship info yet? I was in Dec 27th and I'm feeling the splitter nerves again . I really hope I'm not one of the few people remaining that have to pay sticker at WUSTL.

I applied 12/28, and got my interview invite on 1/3 (which is scheduled for the end of next week). Is it strange that my application doesn't even show that they have received my resume or personal statement? There are not designations anywhere for application complete or under review.

Got offered Dean's Fellowship full-ride plus yearly stipend today. Didn't know for sure if I could see myself at WashU, but now?...

Woah, congrats!!Aspire wrote:Got offered Dean's Fellowship full-ride plus yearly stipend today. Didn't know for sure if I could see myself at WashU, but now?...
In today too, so no scholarship info yet, but I agree - an offer like that is hard to pass by. I visited and St. Louis was actually way nicer than I expected. Their career and networking opportunities seem incredibly solid; it seems like they work hard enough to connect students with opportunities to negate the potentially negative impacts of the location.
Wasn't expecting to enjoy my visit as much as I did. I'm glad I went.
BTW: Super curious! What's their yearly stipend amount?

Thanks! Yes, I completely agree - I was EXTREMELY impressed with the school when I visited. I believe the stipend varies from $5k/year to $15k/year maybe more?Oneanddone? wrote:Woah, congrats!!Aspire wrote:Got offered Dean's Fellowship full-ride plus yearly stipend today. Dang, that's generous! With full tuition and $15K stipend, I'd enroll if they were in Alaska!Aspire wrote:Thanks! Yes, I completely agree - I was EXTREMELY impressed with the school when I visited. Submitted 11/6 and still silence. I had a group coffee chat with the assistant dean back in October, but I don't think that counted as an interview. I thought this one would be a pretty straightforward acceptance

I feel your pain, except I submitted in October, interviewed in December and still nothing. Waiting for this WL is hurting...mistakepluskeleven wrote:Submitted 11/6 and still silence. Hey all! Was accepted in December with a good scholarship. I'm planning a visit during february (14th-18th). Any recommendations on what to do or see while I'm there, other than the campus tour/student lunch/school designated things to do? Also, if anyone's going to be in town then, would love to meet up!

I didn't even receive an acceptance email/letter. Just got an email with scholly info (full ride!) -- running assumption is that I was admitted.LiveJustly390 wrote:Was it an email? Or letter?littlewing67 wrote:Just got scholly info.
