A friend’s sister graduated from WUSTL and clerked for two years - once in CA - and now works in LA big law. It’s totally possible, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.

ETA: This person has strong ties to California

Probably depends heavily on whether you have California ties.

Whaaat! Congratulations! I'm still waiting for mine (if it's ever offered to me that is) ...did you do anything or email them after your acceptance? I have a high enough LSAT, but I was offered acceptance literally a week ago and it's been radio silence since ...:(

Thank you!

I don't know if it matters much, but when one of the deans called, I said how I was thankful/honored, etc, but then went straight to asking about scholarships.
I can't see how that would affect much. But maybe it let them know that money would be a big deciding factor?

But I wouldn't worry too much. If your LSAT is solid/decent GPA, that money is coming. I've seen people on here saying that it took up to 10-14 days before they heard back about scholarships.

Anyone know what the timeframe is after interviewing? Got PR at Duke yesterday so hoping for better news soon. Interviewed Friday and my application was sent to committee by my interviewer Saturday.

Judging from other people on this thread, within a couple of days. Although for a couple of people it seemed to be a several weeks. I'm in the same boat, interview Thursday and sent to the committee on Saturday.

If you want to work in CA, I would strongly suggest a school there (USC, UCLA, Berk, S) or in the t13

I don't know of anyone who's written one, but they definitely ask the question in the interview.

I kinda figured not many people do one, but ntp, have you done your interview yet? I feel like it would be kind of redundant in a way so I'm iffy on writing one myself although I have good reasons

Weird question. My checklist never updated to show the resume, personal statement, and C&F as received, but my interviewer had clearly read them. Do I need to be concerned about this, or just keep waiting?

I never received a status check email or link and I was accepted fairly quickly. It seems like several schools have placed a very low priority on updating their status checkers. I'm fine with that if it means faster decisions overall.

Yeah, it would be great if it meant a quick decision, and while most folks are getting them, I'm in super-splitter land, so I'm waiting. It would be nice if the status checker I got indicated something corresponding to reality.

Accepted today! Got a phone call, so it turns out that obsessively refreshing my email wasn't fruitful after all.
