Is scholarship info on the status checker? I've been admitted but never received a status checker or scholly info.

For those who have gone complete/under review/etc., do they email when you go complete? Or is it just based on the checklist at the bottom? Also, is there anything that actually says your current status and/or a date? I submitted 2 weeks ago and got status checker right away, but I'm a little confused clearly.

I'm in, and those check-boxes never filled, nor did I get a "complete" email.jellyjar wrote:For those who have gone complete/under review/etc., do they email when you go complete? Quick question. I applied ED and was admitted but nothing in the admission email mentioned that I had applied ED. It was within two weeks of submission of all materials and a week after my interview. Does this mean I was accepted via early binding decision and should expect the scholarship that accompanies early decision? I was just slightly thrown off that the email didn’t mention anything about applying ED and being admitted under it.

Hey guys, just had a quick question. I got an interview request late last week. Is the interview just a formality before they accept you? Like if you don't blow it completely is it safe to assume you're in? Also does anyone know if you go to WUSTL, are you allowed to take courses at their business school for credit at the law school like you can at some schools like NYU, Penn, etc.?

Oh because I think the OP said the interviews are essentially an acceptance but I wanted to see if it was still playing out like that this cycle.Platopus wrote:My understanding is that they are trying to interview as many people as possible, so it's probably not a lock.jibrahim23 wrote:Hey guys, just had a quick question. I got invited to interview before I ever applied, so I doubt that it's a sign of acceptance.jibrahim23 wrote:Oh because I think the OP said the interviews are essentially an acceptance but I wanted to see if it was still playing out like that this cycle.Platopus wrote:My understanding is that they are trying to interview as many people as possible, so it's probably not a lock.jibrahim23 wrote:Hey guys, just had a quick question. Interviews definitely do NOT indicate an acceptance at WUSTLjibrahim23 wrote:Hey guys, just had a quick question. I got an interview request late last week. A nice collared shirt and shorts (what I would have worn to work that day anyway, as I worked from home). Personally I'm not huge on having to dress up to make a good impression. The first impression is unnecessary when they have to continue to interview you afterwards. I'll more than make up for it with my answers and that's what they'll remember and write down. I say this as someone who's interviewed job candidates at work for multiple years, and as someone who's never worn a suit to an interview.jibrahim23 wrote:What did you guys wear for the skype interview?

Checking in. Just submitted my completed app. Already ED'd to Notre Dame, but WUSTL is definitely high on my list should NDLS not work out!

Love the school, would love less debt. Anyone know how they are with negotiation?

I know people have been successful with them in the past.RobinLeHood13 wrote:Love the school, would love less debt. Anyone know how they are with negotiation?
In related news, I'm leaning very heavily to WUSTL and will probably end up there unless a miracle happens and I get into Harvard or get a near full ride at a T13/GULC. I'm very debt averse and I feel like my target markets/goals (not biglaw or bust but would like to try for it, targeting major markets/secondary markets I have strong ties to) are appropriate for WUSTL

It's worth nothing, but I bet my pence that you Jimmy are not gonna end up in WUSTL (which would be, as you said, still a good option).Slippin' Jimmy wrote:I know people have been successful with them in the past.RobinLeHood13 wrote:Love the school, would love less debt.
