Mine was really great. Very casual. Basically you’re making your case for $$ so that your interviewer can make a case for you when the scholarship committee meets later this month. Questions were super basic: tell me about yourself, why Duke, how would you be involved at Duke, any extra info to share/questions about the financial aid process. Definitely not something to stress over and pretty helpful.

Basically the same for me! I made the mistake of speaking generally for one of my answers but the interviewer gave me a second chance to tailor my answer to Duke. Very friendly overall

I saw maybe 2 people who applied later than me get accepted already. I submitted 12/22 the day we received Dec. LSATs because I didn't want to wait but maybe I messed up b/c they might have sent me priority track invite??? :?:
From what I've seen, PT an ED candidates have priority in admissions right now; that isn't to say that you won't be hearing back if you didn't apply under those two categories, but without a PT, I would expect to hear back after ED round 2 have been given decisions.
How do I know when ED round 2 decisions will come out?
They come out January 31. It's totally possible you'll hear earlier, though! I would just expect closer to February. Good luck!!!

I've been UR1 since 11/21, RD. Duke is one of my top choices, already wrote a why duke, any other suggestions on how to show my interest? Or best to just relax and wait.... Regretting not waiting for a PT invite

Priority Track. Expedited decision from Duke (10 days or less) if you apply through that medium.

Congrats! Were you invited to a separate interview for the Mordecai or did you just do the standard FinAid interview?

Thank you!! It was a separate, Mordecai-specific interview.

Yes, I was accepted today which is a Sunday. It was my 9th day so it was going to be either a weekend or MLK day.

Does anyone happen to know how long it normally takes for the scholarship application form to come via email along with the chance to schedule an interview? Does the Mordecai interview invite usually come at the same time as the other interview invite if it comes? Finally, do the Mordecai people wind up doing two interviews (one for the Mordecai and one for other scholarships)?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
