FWIW, the other day i was poking around the duke PT thread either for last year or the year before and found someone who was straight up rejected after applying PT with stats above both medians who ended up getting into NYU and columbia. still plenty of time for a great cycle!nishikiizumo wrote:On priority reserve. 170 LSAT, >75 GPA, with why duke essay. The position "Complete; ready for review" is different than under review right? I submitted one week ago...

Yes, that just means they have all of your application components. When you are under review it will just say "under review."InterLaw wrote:The position "Complete; ready for review" is different than under review right? I submitted one week ago...

Worried. The adcoms have a soft (non C+F) reason to WL me, but I tried to mitigate this in an addendum.

For folks who are just getting in (congrats!), how long was the PT wait? Seems like a lot of people have been hearing day 10.

Anybody who had previously gotten a wavior in august or September but no PT invite get a PT invite after the September lsat? Was really hoping they would send me a PT invite, but I might just try to solicit one. Heard there was a PT wavior wave sent out today too.

I just want to make sure I'm not going crazy - if my PT app was complete 10/5, the decision is late now right? 10 days later is the 15th? I've been refreshing my email and the status checker constantly.

maybe, Duke Law's fall break was last week (it's a week long) and the admissions staff might not have been working for some of those days. not sure if that's the case though.JD2021 wrote:I just want to make sure I'm not going crazy - if my PT app was complete 10/5, the decision is late now right? 10 days later is the 15th? As far as I've read, though, PT is 10 calendar days - I got the email and everything on the 10/5. I hope it wouldn't come across as neurotic to follow up tomorrow.proteinshake wrote:maybe, Duke Law's fall break was last week (it's a week long) and the admissions staff might not have been working for some of those days. not sure if that's the case though.JD2021 wrote:I just want to make sure I'm not going crazy - if my PT app was complete 10/5, the decision is late now right? 10 days later is the 15th? I think waiting to follow up until tomorrow would be the best way to go. I know last year there was a period of time for them where they sent out decisions late on day 11, probably just because of a heavy influx of applications. Try not to stress.JD2021 wrote:As far as I've read, though, PT is 10 calendar days - I got the email and everything on the 10/5. holidays and university scheduled breaks when admissions isn't working don't count as a day IIRCvirginia_direwoolf wrote:I think waiting to follow up until tomorrow would be the best way to go.
