Virginia, but they don't necessarily expedite. Rather they simply read and make decisions immediately after apps open.etramak wrote:Congrats Mr SlippinJimmy. Checking in late. Duke might be a bit of a reach for me (depending on my September LSAT). Congrats to those already in, that's awesome. It has to feel good to already have a T14 acceptance under your belt (or two in Jimmy's case).

How was it? Were a lot of people wearing suits? I'm heading to the DC one after work but don't want to look like a gunner (had to suit up today)hotdog96 wrote:Anybody thats already been to the Deans Panel that can give a bit on what to expect? It was pretty good, mainly very basic application info. Not much you haven't already learned on TLS I'm sure. In Atlanta almost all people wore suits, so you should be fine.AlPastor wrote:How was it? Is the Dean's Panel part of their "Road Show"? I got their NYC one - I haven't really been to any of these so I just registered to attend the session next week!hotdog96 wrote:It was pretty good, mainly very basic application info. Re: Duke c/c 2021 Applicants (2017/18)
This might be a neurotic question (feel free to tell me to pull myself together and just wait) but does anyone have any idea what it means when the status *date* changes but not the status itself?
My application was complete on the 12th but today the status date switched to the 19th. Everything else on the page is the same.
Is this meaningful? Am I overthinking everything??
It's much too early in the cycle for me to be falling apart like this haha
ETA: Congrats, emilyLl!!!! missed you post when I wrote up mine

When the status date changes but not the status itself, you're UR2. I was UR2 for about two days before my decision went out. No need to worry!
