Fuck that.

Looks like this will be the last year of the LSAT as we know it. I would guess it's all downhill.

Ugh. Glad I applied this year so at least I know my chances, more or less.

Did you guys tailor your personal statement for Columbia since their prompt is a bit different?

I don't know the extent to which this information is official, but I had the opportunity to speak with a Columbia adcomm recently, and she heavily implied that the only fee waivers they are sending this cycle are LSAC-calculated need based. This could be the party line and not reflect the truth, but she sounded sincere.

I know a guy (yeah anecdotal af), who spoke with an adcom who said they would make them available by late Oct/Early November.

But meh. probably just worth it to throw the app tbh.

Jeb Butler just sent me a personal email concerning something in my PS. So they are reviewing apps already, apparently.

He seems like a really decent dude.

Hey guys, I submitted my app on 10/12 and still haven't gone complete. Is this type of delay normal?

3.61 GPA in EE and a 172 LSAT. Do y'all think CLS is too high of a reach?

I'm pulling the trigger and applying. These mysterious fee waivers are like waiting for Godot. I've lost all confidence that they are coming.

I did the same. Columbia was the only non-HYS school that I couldn't get a fee waiver from. Figured that was a pretty good run and just took the bath with Columbia.

Yep, I’m submitting tomorrow or Wednesday. Don’t care to wait anymore.

Also just stopped waiting for a waiver which probably wasn't coming and submitted yesterday. Feeling very long-shot at the moment...

To those who applied: How soon did the status checker email come after submission?

I applied yesterday morning and got the email last night - so about 10 hrs.

I plan on adding a few "Why Columbia" sentences. Something about their public interest programs.

Went ahead and submitted the app. Hope I don’t get an email about a waiver ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When have the waves of acceptances gone out historically?
