I received a hidden waiver today so everyone who's looking for one should check their accounts.

I AM SO GLAD I DIDN'T SUBMIT LAST NIGHT. Thank you for being neurotic when I had given up

I submitted my app 2 days ago and got an invite today to attend a Columbia information session at my local university.

Is that a good sign?!

Emails are out. Interestingly, they mention that the waiver is based on "LSAT alone."

Correct, I got a waiver just now and I would not have gotten one if they considered GPA.

Hm, no hidden fee waiver for me. Above/around both 75ths. Bummer.

Well this makes me even more bummed. 177 LSAT. Guess I'm hoping an email pops up in the next few minutes. I did get an email inviting me to a session at my undergrad, despite graduating 3 years ago.

Yep, have received many a fee waiver from other schools. Oh well. I'm still a few weeks away from being ready to apply, so I'll keep my hopes up that a waiver eventually comes in. Columbia is a top choice for me.

That is even more interesting. I wonder if this is some form of yield-protect? Keep us posted and good luck, hope you get the waiver soon!

Got the fee waiver today. Hard to imagine that it was based on my LSAT score alone (which is not that impressive) and didn't factor in my high GPA or the fact that I'm a URM.

SOAB - I just couldn't wait any longer for the waiver and submitted Monday. And yet clearly there are people who should have gotten waivers and didn't?? BIZARRE. Knowing my luck wouldn't have gotten one anyway (LSAT 171).
