checking in. going to be active and not just stalk TLS this cycle. [i posted this in my 7 favorite threads. can i do that?]
not sure how this works but here goes:
GPA: 3.6 [blah state school. easy major - Psychology]
LSAC GPA: 3.56
LSAT take one 163: [sat for it cold, no prep. so essentially a "diagnostic" only not ... because it was the actual LSAT]
LSAT take two 178: [almost cancelled]
URM: AfAm Female
softs: somewhere between nonexistent and unimpressive

You better thank your lucky stars you didn't cancel that score! Good luck this cycle!

Does anyone have the link to where Columbia's webinars are available? Admissions officer at LSAC forum told me there are admissions webinars but I can't seem to find them on the website.

I don't know the extent to which this information is official, but I had the opportunity to speak with a Columbia adcomm yesterday, and she heavily implied that the only fee waivers they are sending this cycle are LSAC-calculated need based. This could be the party line and not reflect the truth, but she sounded sincere.

I know a guy (yeah anecdotal af), who spoke with an adcom who said they would make them available by late Oct/Early November.

But meh. probably just worth it to throw the app tbh.

I have a fee waiver and it is 100% not need-based since I haven't filled that info out

Any idea of very roughly what % of admits were interviewed? Is it something they do for applicants they're less certain of?

That's amazing! Probably for a Hamilton/Butler. I don't have any advice because I haven't had mine yet, but I wish you the best of luck!
