Just got the interview request. Anyone know how long the interview tends to be? Trying to figure out when I should try to schedule it.

Just checking in. One quick question. I sent an email them to update my application, but they haven't replied me yet. I asked them twice, but still no answer. I'm little worried whether they already updated the application. Is it ok not to receive an email from them?

Be careful posting this stuff. Adcomm's read this board and if any are from Columbia, there probably aren't many McAuliffes who interviewed at Columbia today.

Tbh I don't know why this would matter unless your conduct on this forum would disqualify you from admission.

Yeah I mean most of this stuff can be found anywhere online, I know how stressful interviews could be, so I'm always happy to help with tips :)

Not sure about Columbia but some schools as you not to sure the contents of the interview with other prospective students.

That's certainly an important consideration. I'd just not share if they asked me not to. But if they don't mention anything, then I don't see any reason why they would hold it against you.

Can you guys check the application status?
I was just trying to check now, but it said "We cannot check the status of your application for admission because the information you provided does not match any records in our database. In order for us to successfully check your application status, your first and last names, LSAC Account Number, and date of birth must exactly match the information you provided on your application for admission.
Please go back to the previous page and ensure that the information you provided is exactly what you submitted on your application for admission.
Please note that it takes up to two weeks for new application submissions to be processed and entered into our database. If you recently submitted an application for admission, please try again after at least two weeks have passed.
Please contact the Office of Admissions if you continue to have difficulty with checking your application status."

It is really weird because it worked until this afternoon and it's been two weeks since I submitted the application.
So now I'm panic.

I think it'll be a little later (maybe Friday but not before). I'm counting on a Columbia and a UChi wave sometime between next Friday and the Friday after, but my nerves are at a point where I'm going to be jumpy every time either thread is bumped for the next week.

This happened to me several times. I think you might need to restart your browser. I had similar problems logging into myColumbia, which were fixed when I made sure to log out after each session.

The past few years it’s been the Tuesday or Wednesday after MLK Day!
