Checking in. NU is absolutely one of my top choices. Plan on EDing after the Sept. LSAT. I don't expect to get it, even if i get a 99th percentile score, but word is it can boost your odds for general admission at the very least. Plus I want to show them my interest.
Anyone know when the best/safest time to start contacting NU about off campus interviews is? Was thinking of signing up the moment I finish the LSAT.

Checking in. Anyone know if NU would look favorably upon a "why X" essay? I'm a pretty vanilla K-JD so I'm not exactly the ideal applicant lol

Checking in. 3.45/171/likely retaking LSAT. Will probably apply in October after getting that score back.
May try ED but with low hopes

Yeah I think you're right. I have good numbers but NU apparently has a real hard on for people with WE.Platopus wrote: Can't hurt, especially if you lack WE.

Unfortunately for some of us, ED doesn't appear to be for splitters. It probably can't hurt your application though.Jack_Kelly wrote:Checking in. 3.45/171/likely retaking LSAT. Will probably apply in October after getting that score back.

Checking in, I'll probably apply for negotiating purposes but can't see myself in Chicago long term.

that's a lie. A WHYX can definitely hurt if it isn't sincere.mrcfa1995 wrote:Yeah I think you're right. I have good numbers but NU apparently has a real hard on for people with WE.Platopus wrote: Can't hurt, especially if you lack WE.

This is very true, and why I'm only writing one for schools that I am sincerely interested in going to that are known for yield protection.heyduchess wrote:that's a lie.
