Is it overkill to do every optional essay? Seems like a good opportunity to showcase my writing, especially with the 10 yrs after law school or fill in a box prompts

I actually meant doing the optional statement (diversity), one optional essay and an addendum. At this point I'd be maxing out the app and don't want them to ignore everything I wrote if that's the case

Signed up for a group interview in late September that got cancelled. Just got an alumni interview request today. Hopefully this one works out! At least now I can stop wondering if I somehow snuck in without an interview.

I didn't think mine was weird at all, it was just a group discussion. But maybe I just had really normal people interviewing with me.

And mine was weird because one of the people I interviewed w/ was strange & kind of trying to stand out by giving answers that disagreed with everyone else's sentiments... also, it kind of felt like Dean Cornblatt was trying to intimidate us all. He gave out Admissions info & basically had us decide whether we would admit or reject certain people (not the ones in the room, but people from years past) as if he was, like, warning us...

I don't think it should be any cause for concern. I've seen some people on LSN get admitted without any interview at all.
