Is it true that all gtown acceptances come by snail mail and all rejections come by email?

What about waitlist and deferrals? Email or mail?

A lot of people have been getting their acceptance letter way after their interview because it's sent through snail mail. Could easily be on its way to you.

There is some type of weird internal system at play. Snail mail anywhere on the east coast should be 3 days tops and people are getting them much longer after the letter date.

Just had to stick up for the fine people of the USPS.

Just got my letter, interviewed at the end of November, letter was dated 12/07 and posted 12/12! I saw some other people from my group interview got their letter a couple days ago so it took me a couple extra days to get my letter

Yeah they probably just sit in a bin for a few days before they are mailed out.

Based on what my interviewer told me and all the dates people have been posting here, I think they make their decisions on Thursdays/Fridays and then mail them out on Mondays/Tuesdays.

I haven’t heard anything since. At the time, I didn’t realize how important the interview was to the school, so I didn’t request an alumni interview. Should I send them an email to do so now? Since I haven’t received word of a waitlist or a ding yet so I feel like this might work in my favor...

I had to decline my first interview mid November due to an exam I had, I got another request out of the blue about a month later. If it's a legitimate excuse, I don't think they'll hold it against you.

So my mailing address is my school address and I'm going back home on Thursday, won't be able to check my mailbox from then until the 2nd. Reallyyyyy hoping I get my letter on like Wednesday or something lol.
