I was planning to apply around Nov-Dec, when my app will be perfect, but I will actually apply as soon as the first one here will post his admission, with an incomplete application, rushing the personal statement and forgetting the addenda I prepared carefully in advance.

I didn't write a full on Why Georgetown but I did put in a 3-4 sentence paragraph at the end of my personal statement talking about a program of theirs I liked. Turned out my interviewer was actually involved with the program!

I did not write a Why Georgetown and got an alumni interview invite on the 15th.
I see. I was more curious as to whether writing a Why GT makes them think to not give you an interview sometimes though, since I've heard they do interviews for some people who they think probably don't really want to go to GT.

Idk, I'm probably just thinking way outside of what they actually do so let me stop :P lol

Yup! Interviewer was super chill. The day after we interviewed he told me he submitted his review of me so that I'd have a chance of hearing back before I go home for winter break. Unfortunately I go home Thursday morning so even if they sent my letter yesterday/today I probably won't see it until I get back on the 2nd. Hopefully something to look forward to when break's over?

Interested as well. Only have a handful of days off for school visits and I'm hoping to only use them for schools I know I could viably afford. $$

Thanks but I'm only gone for like 12 days I don't want to play any games with the post office, you know? Chances are it won't even be sent until after Christmas so that'd be like, an extra maybe 2-3 days wait? I'll deal. Putting it out of my head for a week or two would probably be good for my mental health, lol.

Alumni interview in two days at a dessert shop/cafe. So here are my questions: do I actually order something and eat it? If so, should I pay?

Trying to avoid as many awkward moments as possible.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
