When did it say "under review" for y'all who got an interview request? Mine said since 12/29 (after going complete 12/4).

I’ve been UR since right before Thanksgiving

For all those who've had their interviews, do you mind sharing what's it like? What kind of questions were asked?
Got mine in a few days and trying my best to get prepared for it :)

A lot of the questions I got are listed in this thread and also last year's. Mine was pretty straightforward. I've seen some people say that their interviewers were tough to read but mine was friendly and it felt more like a conversation than simply going one by one through a list of questions. I was really nervous but it was a good experience.

Didn't get an interview request and am super bummed...I did hear UChi was unfriendly towards internationals though, since it's such a GPA heavy school

For Chicago, yes. Everyone gets interviewed. They seem to do bigger, less frequent interview waves than Harvard, for example, which I think can make it even more anxiety-producing. Still a lot of interviews to come, though, for those still waiting. Chicago hasn’t accepted anyone who’s not ED yet, so we’re still pretty early on in this one.

Do you have confirmation/proof of this?

Why would they interview applicants that are not at all competitive? (I'm thinking the 130/2.1)

Based on the question he was answering, I think he meant that everyone who is eventually accepted is first interviewed. Not every applicant gets an interview- in fact, I'm fairly sure that the majority of applicants don't.

This. Sorry for not being clear. Everyone who gets accepted is interviewed prior to acceptance. It is NOT true that every applicant is interviewed.

Interview invite today! I noticed this line in the email:

We also strongly encourage you to review our Preparing For My Interview FAQs prior to your interview.

I combed through the FAQs on their website but couldn't find one titled the same as above. Anybody know where I can find this info?

So you want a new poll? I GOTCHU

Please update your poll responses as your application status changes!!!

BTW I was sorely disappointed by the dismal performance of the midwest in the last poll, I mean we got beat by the south for gods sake. And apparently the coastal elites are flocking here in droves... Although I am pleased that 6 aliens/lizard people are applying to chicago.

To be fair, the poll listed Missouri as the South for some reason. That was at least a two point swing.

So I got my interview request but didn't get to schedule it until the following day. With that delay, the first two weeks of interviews were full already, pushing the remaining slots to the last day of Jan or early Feb. Mylsn shows that typically the first two waves, mid Jan and early Feb, are mostly acceptances and the other waves have much more WLs and dings (http://mylsn.info/d/chicago/1617-NoED/). So, do y'all think that having an interview in early Feb as opposed to like Jan 20-30th is a disadvantage? Or should it not matter much?

Shouldn't matter much. That difference probably speaks more to when most of their interview slots are available than anything else.
