Congrats to everyone who received their Interview Invite. I am hoping someone who has scoured past threads a little more than I have can provide insight on moving to UR 2 without an Interview Invite? Is this considered UR 2 or UR 1.5? How has this been interpreted in the past? Thanks!

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere in last year's thread that an interview is necessary for admission.

I’m pretty confident that that’s wrong. i spoke with a rep at a fair and she was telling me that interviews aren’t for all applicants, just if they have questions about your application and aren’t indicative of whether you’ll be accepted. Idk how much of that is true but i believe that they aren’t necessary

Definitely fair. I just remembered it from among the chatter. UChi's website definitely doesn't indicate it's true

I'm pretty sure you need to be interviewed to get in, barring a very late acceptance or getting in off the WL. I think AdComms say these things for the same reason they all say they average LSAT scores

edit; to be fair, I have absolutely no proof to back up this claim, but it suits my own self interests so thats what I'm going with

From what I saw on last year's page, an interview is necessary for admission, esp given that no one reported to be admitted without being interviewed.

Aaaand of course I notice a typo on my resume an hour after I submit. This resume went out to half the t13. I think its minor enough that adcoms will forgive me, or, like me, fail to notice unless they read it 7 times (I put 40 hr/wl for one of my jobs instead of 40 hr/wk)

I also went UR2 on the sixth. Or maybe it's UR1 since I'm stupid and didn't record when I went UR1... I know I went complete on the 23rd. Anyway, no interview request here. Not that my numbers are high enough to get one at this point.

Interview went really well. Very conversational. It started out with a few questions from the list in the thread, but most of the questions were follow ups on my answers

What's the proper attire for these skype interviews? I don't really own a pant suit or anything and the dresses that still fit me are not that conservative...
