Does anyone know if going UR4 now is a good sign of admittance or does Chicago also do dings/waitlists around the same time?

In order to get in, you'll need to go UR4. But apparently, you can go UR4 and STILL get dinged.
So, it's stressful af, fam.

I thought you were guaranteed at least a WL if you go UR4... but maybe not. I'm gonna lose my mind this week

There are ppl last year who got UR4, but still got the fatty ding in the first wave. Worse than a Shakespearean tragedy.

Could be wrong, but I think that’s the idea. We just don’t have any guarantees about what those responses will be.

Hey everyone! Best of luck to everyone who went UR4 today - I hope it's great news for everyone come Friday. I did just want to point out that Chicago's mylsn data indicates that the first wave of decisions has historically consisted of all (or almost all) applications (at least those reported on LSN) that went complete before early/mid-November. The wave consists of acceptances, rejections, and waitlists - there isn't all that much to divine from the tea leaves here. At any rate, (and I get that this is TLS, don't worry) there isn't much point in obsessing - decisions will come sooner or later. I wish everyone here nothing but the best when they do.

No. They went through y’all 4 reviews like normally. Except when everyone else was getting accepted on Friday, they got dinged.

I think it goes UR 1.5 when you receive interview request and UR 2 when you schedule so it's not really UR3.
