UR4s this week???

My money's on the first round of RD acceptances coming out Thursday.

I'm betting everyone who got their app in by Mid-late October and interviewed before the new year will hear back with a decision.

Any idea when the next wave of interview requests will be? Seems like they’ve requested interviews from a lot of October and November applicants this time around. When can people who went UR in December expect to get their invites?

Looking at past years, it seems that Chicago, Columbia, Northwestern, and Harvard could all be due for a wave in the next two weeks. I think a lot of us will be losing our minds around here the next 10 days. Haha.

There haven't been any reports of UR4 yet, right? We'd probably need that to happen by tomorrow if there's going to be a wave this week...

Based on last year and two years ago, there's a 2 day gap between UR4 and decisions (i.e., UR4 was 1/17, two days elapsed, and decisions were 1/20). So yes, we would likely need UR4 to happen on 1/16 this year in order to have a decision by this Friday. Looks like last years decisions were visible on the status checker first, followed by an email.

Everyone who gets in is interviewed before admission.

So had been thinking there would be nothing from Chicago til end of week at the earliest, so planned on relaxing today and tomorrow (more or less). This plan now foiled.

Same here! Submitted mid-September, interviewed mid-November. UR3 12/28 and UR4 today (1/16)

Date change today that I *think* is UR2. No interview invite, does this mean a ding? I know UR updates for most schools are pretty meaningless but Chicago seems to follow a more set UR pattern. Anyone else go UR2 with no invite?
