Checking in
UVA just sent me an unsolicited fee waiver which I'm pretty surprised about so I might toss an application in for funsies.

Is writing a Why UVA when applying ED necessary?

I haven't tried - but are we able to start working on apps now and then just submit them when it opens?

You can only work on apps that are open. UVA's is uploded, but you can't open it until Friday.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:I haven't tried - but are we able to start working on apps now and then just submit them when it opens?

I got my fee waiver from attending the DC forum, but Dean Faulk gave me his card 2 different times during our 3 minute chat and asked me to follow up with him after I applied. I know that happens to nearly everyone but it still got me pumped up!

Anyone know if the Virginia residency form gets uploaded to your application on LSAC or do you send it separately? The blurb in the application instructions on the school's website about the form not being transmitted electronically is throwing me off.

I have my Feb score but that's still below their 25th. Even checked to see whether I included it to my "My Schools" list on LSAC and I didn't. I honestly couldn't tell you why I got it unless somehow they have software that was able to figure out I've visited the UVA Law site numerous times. Hoping it's not a mistake because that's money saved!!twiix wrote:arent you taking september lsat? How/why did they send you one without an lsat score? lolclueless801 wrote:Unsolicited fee waiver

I don't think it's that either because I've literally never shown interest in UVA, just below lsat 25 and still got it unsolicited. Curious if UVA might be thinking their applicants will drop this year cause of the whole mess earlier this month.clueless801 wrote:I have my Feb score but that's still below their 25th. From reading threads from previous years, I think it's at least partially that they just give out a lot of fee waivers.carmtastic wrote: I don't think it's that either because I've literally never shown interest in UVA, just below lsat 25 and still got it unsolicited. UVA always seems to have a few acceptances within the first fews days of apps opening. Looking forward to hearing some people getting good news this early in the cycle!
