did anyone else feel like during the interview the interviewer was extremely nice and basically hinted you were in ?

UVA's interviews are more like you're in. People on this thread have gotten interviews then acceptance letters/notifications within a short period of time.

I just applied this past week and I'm wondering if it's too late to receive a Dillard. Earlier posts in this thread said some people would be admitted but not receive a Dillard until February/a while after being admitted. Are the ones that are given later a result of earlier Dillard recipients withdrawing? I feel bad for applying in December, but it's been a very time-consuming process for me

I don't think that'd necessarily work against you at all! It's true, some people don't find out until later in the cycle

She emailed me my acceptance Friday and I got it yesterday, so six days, but I'm in NY so not that far for mail

Yes I did! Just did my interview this week and pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything moved after the interview request. There were no changes on my status checker since UR1 until today though, so just by going off the status checker I was UR1 --> Admitted. Took more than 2 months!!!

That’s exactly what happened with me! I had gone under review 11/14 and then 0 movement until I got my interview request, interviewed on a Friday, and got accepted on Tuesday!

I applied early September and was accepted in late September after a phone interview with Grace Cleveland. I have what I deem to be a lower LSAT (164) and a good GPA (3.97). I feel like I may have gotten the state diversity nod being an early app from Mississippi, but I'm not sure. Should I expect any kind of merit based scholarship at all with these numbers? I have full scholly's to several non-T14's and I'm trying to make my decision...
