yeah, I didn’t think so.Platopus wrote: I don't think anyone can say definitively it means that you're UR2 - I think it probably borders on reading too much into it.
I thought maybe they decided I suck way faster than I thought they would lol

UVA is killing me. Has anyone been asked for interview in the past ten days? I've seen nada everywhere.

Same. Kinda disappointing but I can only imagine that it means a pretty big wave in the next week or so.xinaialice wrote:SopranoSaxophone wrote:UVA is killing me. Has anyone been asked for interview in the past ten days? I've seen nada everywhere.

Hello Class of 2021,
1L here. I got some good guidance and input from UVA Law students on this board last year, so I figured I'd pay it forward as best I can. I'm sure at this point you're mostly curious how admissions does what they do; unfortunately, I am not privy to their inner workings. I can provide some anec-data from what I saw last year, talk about interviews, and maybe let you know some things are in the realm of the possible (you can totally get a merit scholarship applying ED)-- but my tea-leaf reading isn't going to be significantly better than yours.
I can speak a little better on the actual faculty, students, grounds, programs, and academics, which are all phenomenal. If you want a top-shelf legal education without constantly having to pull your peers' knives out of your back or seriously questioning your life choices, I can't think of a better place to be. If I can be of assistance, please feel free to tag or PM me. Best of luck to you all in your cycle.

Oh good. I thought I was being fast-tracked for an auto-reject. Guess I can leave a few more hours between each refresh then. Thanks!Platopus wrote:I don't think anyone can say definitively it means that you're UR2 - I think it probably borders on reading too much into it.Ntp73821 wrote:Does a date change for sure mean we’re UR2? Love UVA, and I hope they didn't do this to outright reject me..

Who knows? A bunch of people with great numbers have been UR here for a while dude. I think we'll get a better idea once second wave of interview invites start coming outhotdog96 wrote:Went complete and UR1 10/16 and UR2 today. Hopefully that means a decision soon?

It’s been uncharacteristically silent this cycle. I guess November is going to be a bit more active than usual in return. Or so I hope.xinaialice wrote:No movement since early October?

Perhaps the only thing we could do is hoping more movement next month.Platopus wrote:I hope so too. I am not at all anxious about the schools that I know don't start releasing decisions until January, but I'm starting to get nervous from this UVA silence.principalagent wrote:It’s been uncharacteristically silent this cycle. Hey guys, I've been under review since 10/16 and haven't heard back yet. Has anyone who submitted around then heard back? It seems like UVA usually has had a pretty quick turnaround time in previous cycles.
