Is anybody else applying for the Furman Public Policy Scholarship Program or the Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholarship Program?

How are their GPA stats consistently whole numbers? Do they round/are they allowed to? Seems weird to me.

They round. Last year's numbers were 3.65/3.81/3.89

Their ABA 509 has the exact numbers. Not sure why they round their numbers on their publications though, especially because a 3.65 is not all that close to a 3.7

Is it really necessary to fill out the "Employment" tab on the application if all that information is in your resume anyway? It'd basically just be all the same stuff twice, seems silly.

My employment section will list my complete history while resume will have just selected jobs that are most relevant/inportant

Should I send in an updated resume from now or just wait and see if I hit the waitlist and then send it to them?

If its significant, send it now, otherwise probably a good idea to just wait.
FWIW, I'm waiting to send my resume updates until I hit (what I assume will be many) waitlists

LSAC GPA: 3.56
LSAT take one 163: [sat for it cold, no prep. so essentially a "diagnostic" only not ... because it was the actual LSAT]
LSAT take two 178: [almost cancelled]

softs: somewhere between nonexistent and unimpressive

Anyone else getting antsy? Looks like decisions went out Nov 15th last year, although it was pretty exclusively people above both 75ths.

If I remember correctly, the UR waves started a little later this year, so I'm not getting my hopes up for decisions before December.

Agreed (sob). Hoping that the 6-10 weeks they have us under review are spent finding us All The Money and not passing my PS around the office so everyone can have a laugh.

Are we expecting movement next week?

NYU is moving up on my list because bf just got a great job offer in the city.

Considering most schools this year have been slower than the 16/17 cycle, my guess is after US Thanksgiving, more like 15/16 and 14/15 cycles

AvatarMeelo wrote:Anyone here applying for a programmatic scholly? So I'm in a bit of dilemma - I severely underperformed on the September LSAT which means retake in December. But since scores aren't out til January 4th or so, I'm not sure what the protocol would be for submitting these apps before the January 1st deadline for the scholarships. I don't want to be automatically rejected is the fear before they even look at my December score but I also don't want to miss out on what is supposed to be an amazing scholarship :/ Am I shit out of luck?

I'm in the same predicament. I'm hoping scores come out earlier than January 4th. I was planning on submitting everything by mid-December and crossing my fingers that they'll accept my LSAT score whenever it comes in for consideration into the programmatic program. I would love to hear if anyone else knows how NYU handles this situation though. I have considered contacting them, but I won't do so until after the December exam. I can't have anything else to focus on for now.

I'm definitely applying for the RTK scholarship. Can we apply to both? And do we need two letters of recommendation if we do?
