I'm DLS, above both 75ths. I can login to the admitted students site.

Is there anyone who was still UR this morning and then went DLS, or is the consensus it was one big batch?

Got the call, super excited. Do you guys know when they tell you about merit based aid? Is it in the letter they send you?

Also just got the called and asked about this. I'm pretty sure she said that they'll start giving out non-named scholarship info after the new year

IN via email. Also abroad, so phonecall was not an option. It was a very short email with a linked video.

Those not admitted today, don't despair. Last year's first wave included almost exclusively people above both 75th percentiles. They also had sizable waves of admits just about every week after that up until Christmas, and by two or three weeks after the first wave were accepting splitters, borderline applicants they must have liked, etc. http://mylsn.info/d/nyu/1617-NoED/ for reference

I'm above both 75ths, should I be worried? I'm KJD...

edit: submitted three weeks ago, received by nyu on halloween.

I'm by no means an expert, just a prospective student myself, but people above both 75ths who submitted around when you did last year were admitted during each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th waves, in addition to well into 2017. Very few in that category were not ultimately admitted. Definitely don't think it's time to panic for anyone

I'm in the identical boat re: above both 75ths. UR1 since 10/23 and crickets. I take heart from all the wise words of our compadres.
