i know we were talking about Ann Arbor the other day and there are sooooooooooooooooo many good places to get hash browns here. the best is Fleetwood Diner where you get the Hippie Hash which is a gloriously greasy combination of onions, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, mushroom, and hashbrowns. i ususally get it with gyro meat and a side of eggs and you let the yolk run over it and it's borderline arousing.

There's nothing borderline about that at all.

unlike all of my applications aye lmao *cries*

Says the person who messaged me the poll options!! ;) lol I think if I add it now it'll reset the poll, but safe to assume that vodka is many people's favorite way to enjoy potatoes. And forget about law school apps. LOL

You had me until broccoli. I love broccoli but I don't think I'd love broccoli in my hashbrowns.

i don't even like broccoli and it's still amazing

I live in Georgia and they drop a giant peach so I guess I should have realized they would drop a potato in Idaho.

I’ve never spent so much time contemplating a poll before. I’m not entirely happy with my answer but I’ll stand by it lol

A sweet potato is still a potato. ;-) At least it is in my book. I don't know about the whole biology and classification of plants thing.

Yeah but they justify a category unto themselves because they aren't just fried, they're combined with a batter and then fried--as opposed to hash browns, french fries, etc which are solely fried potatoes, albeit seasoned generally

Technically, you can bake latkes for a healthier alternative. I did it last year and they were still pretty bomb.

You could always vote for fried and know in your heart that you also meant latkes. We won't tell latkes how you voted.

I agree that latkes deserve their own poll response. It's a squares and rectangles sort of thing, by which I mean squares are battered rectangles.

Anyway, I answered "baked", but my heart says "vodka"

I mean, it is caught under the word all. And yes, before someone gets technical on eat versus drink, you can eat vodka via infusing it into foods. The gummy bears remember what you did to them that night.

In case there was any doubt that the results Pavlov's experiments can be replicated in human test subjects, I am now at the point where every vibration of my phone triggers a spike in heart rate.
