With your stats? I'd throw an app at any of those three that gives you a fee waiver, then let them woo you if there isn't a full tuition offer in the t13 (or offer you like better from up top).
All three have given me fee waivers. IDK, there are things about all of them I don't like, but bc I'm super debt averse they each appeal to me as a kind of last resort full ride option.
WUSTL may not be a bad super safety if you're looking to practice in Chicago. They started out as pretty much a safety for me but I'd say they're now top 3-4 in terms of where I might actually end up. It's hard to turn down virtually 0 debt at a solid T20.

But then again you should have much better options than me

Anyone here willing to acquire some good karma for themselves by starting a Yale thread?

I took the plunge. Yale thread is live. If there's anything I need to add, let me know! Best of luck, Yale hopefuls.

If t makes you feel better, I think it’s going to weigh the same in front of adcomms especially since they’re both below the 25ths at t14s. Also don’t you have an amazing LSAT? You’ve definitely overcome your GPA!

I'd feel less anxiety if I can just get acceptances from my safety schools.
Not that I put in a lot of apps. (Or that I am in the same competitive grouping as a lot of posters here)
I also wish I was one of those people who can't eat when stressed.

Anyone here in the frustrating position of having to draft a LOR for your employer? I haven't asked mine yet but I'm 99% sure she's going to ask me to draft something. Not because I'm not a good employee - in fact, I'm fantastic. She's a partner of a mid-size firm so she's incredibly busy, and I write her letters on the matters I'm involved in anyway. Hoping other peeps are in a similar position and can point me in the direction of some solid resources. I'm definitely putting in a million specific examples that she herself has pointed out to me, but I want to make sure the language and necessary aspects of a LOR are in there.

Following you both on LSN from my 16 apps, dear June LSAT comrades! And super rooting for you!

Also, heyduchess, from your post history I imagine you as a super stressed out / overthinker law school applicant and you're aiming to land in California. That makes you my favourite user on this forum <3

I think you should throw an app at least to one or two reaches. I applied to UVA and I’m right below both medians. Figured why not take a chance! :D

If you have the money you might as well apply to a reach or two. I applied to Harvard with GPA and LSAT between 25th and median. MyLSN shows about 30% acceptance with these stats, and considering I'm KJD my chances are probably significantly lower than that. Still, I've had a very successful first couple months of the cycle so maybe I'm seriously underestimating my softs or my PS. Was worth the $120 for me.

Does anyone know if there's a website that estimates scholarships awards at certain schools based on your numbers?

I do! And I graduated in 2010, so there's some distance. Six of my seven years of WE are at the same law firm, so that'll hopefully help, too.

Should I include my GPA on my resume, and if so, which one? My university GPA is much lower than my current LSAC GPA. I also sent in updated transcripts so I'm not 100% sure what my LSAC GPA actually is now. I don't want to wait to submit until I get my updated GPA, but I also don't want to put an incorrect one. Any thoughts?

I think the general stance is that you put your actual degree gpa on your resume when you have your degree as a line on it, if you include the gpa at all. The school will see your lsac gpa separately and they won't be confused

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
