As an aspiring law professor, Yale. As someone who'd rather not move across the country, Stanford.

But let's be real, my dream school is one that accepts me at this point amirite?

Would give my right arm to go to NYU, but it's a slight reach and I'm already in at UVA, which I'm liking more and more every day.

Chicago is my dream and I feel fairly certain I would get in if I chose to do ED.

However, as someone who will be paying their own way, I already have a full from WUSTL and will most likely be aiming for money at MVP/Duke

University of Washington.

I want to settle my family and not uproot my daughter the summer after I graduate/before she starts 3rd grade so at least being in the Cascadian region is important to me.

So I prob should email them a need-based waiver now. If anyone has had success asking for need-based fee waivers from YHS (likely not S), please share your wisdom!
LSAC agreed that I'm broke, so the Y and H waivers came from that. S has a whole separate form that you must fill out, regardless of if you received the LSAC waiver. I had no patience for that so I just coughed up the $100.

What information do you have to supply to receive an LSAC waiver?

IIRC tax information from the last year and some proof of US/Canadian residency. I'm sure Y and H will tell you that they leave it to LSAC for need-based waivers, i.e. if you qualify for it your app fee will be waived automatically on the application. This is true for a number of other schools as well.

I am attending a law school fair (not an LSAC forum) in the next couple of days. Is there anything I should do to prepare? Is dress casual for this type of event?

Checking in! Very excited. Top choice would be Mich or Penn!
