Same. It's a very close 2nd to UVA and will probably come down to $$$.principalagent wrote:One of my top choices! Really hoping for a priority track invite.doggozeg wrote:Any Duke hopefuls here?

Sooo anyone else in here get an email from CLS about an information session next week? Would love to go but would also need to clear it with my workaholic boss. If anyone's been to any of these things, can you share your experiences? Likelihood of getting a waiver?

Yeah! Duke is seriously underrated when you look at their outcomes. $$$ is my biggest factor in deciding where to go thoughdoggozeg wrote:Any Duke hopefuls here?

What's the barrier of entry for these invites? I had a friend get one, but she had a crazy LSAT, so her numbers aren't helpful here!principalagent wrote:One of my top choices! Really hoping for a priority track invite.doggozeg wrote:Any Duke hopefuls here?

Hey Clueless, here's a partial list of schools' fees from last year:clueless801 wrote:Hey TLS friends - help a fellow broke person out! Each LSAC report is $35 so that's something we can't avoid per application. Can anyone point me to a list of how much it costs to apply to each school? I'm super hoping I do well enough on the LSAT where I can request fee waivers, but I'm also super risk averse and want to try to set something aside right now.
Yale - $60
Harvard - $85
Stanford - $100
Columbia - $85
Chicago - $75
NYU - $85

Michigan - $75

A bit shocked that I didn't receive the email though. LSAT is right at the median, but GPA is far above the 75th percentile. I guess I need to try harder!

Of course Stanford has to be the one school that can't keep their fee under $100Pozzo wrote:Hey Clueless, here's a partial list of schools' fees from last year:clueless801 wrote:Hey TLS friends - help a fellow broke person out! Her new stuff is extremely impressive. I'm not sure if I'm grading her on a curve from her previous work, but I was taken aback. Sounds completely different.dm1683 wrote:TIL the only thing worse than Kesha's (sorry, Ke$ha's) music is a shitty cover of Kesha's music.

Because I'm bored at work... What T14 optional essays are you all opting to do? I've finished one for Penn (on teamwork) and trying to come up with something for Michigan.

Yeah this seems like it might be the last good cycle for super-splitters.Platopus wrote:In case anyone missed the news:

Wouldn't it be better for splitters next cycle because schools can easily take high GPA GRE applicants to keep their median GPA up, and avoid taking reverse splitters so their LSAT doesn't drop? Seems like reverse splitters will be in a worse wayprincipalagent wrote:Yeah this seems like it might be the last good cycle for super-splitters.Platopus wrote:In case anyone missed the news:

Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
That makes sense. I imagined that schools could balance their GPA medians by taking more High GPA GRE applicants and use a smaller amount of higher LSATs. That way, they don't have to take as many splitters just to keep their LSAT up.rowdy wrote:Wouldn't it be better for splitters next cycle because schools can easily take high GPA GRE applicants to keep their median GPA up, and avoid taking reverse splitters so their LSAT doesn't drop?
