It's almost like any given person has a variance in their performance on a test where 1 point could be worth tens of thousands of dollars.

That's honestly my main rationale for retaking, just hoping I have a 175+ day.

That's why the conventional wisdom of "you always underperform on test day" is so dumb to me. Any one of us is just the average of our last 10 PT's +/- X points. Being +X is just as likely as being -X. In your case, if you're at the low end schools will never ever care, but the high end could change your life. There's no reason not to do it.

Does anyone have the time/feel inclined to replicate this data for the last couple of years?

Have you all seen this on mylsn?

https://jscalc.io/calc/zt21YwP4hMpgFuoT

You input your LSAT/GPA and it tells you your % chance of being accepted/waitlisted/denied.

Pretty cool.

The 5% for Yale has me feeling like Jim Carrey on Dumb and Dumber....

Quick question for you guys - does LSAC automatically send new LORs to schools?

Yes, or if you assign them to a school after submitting. They usually take a day to transmit and there is no confirmation when it does so.
