I'm a little offended that Penn didn't send me a waiver. I didn't even apply to them last year so I couldn't have pissed them off by declining acceptance...

Go to the application on LSAC. You'll see it when you click "Go to application" or whatever. You no longer have to go all the way to checkout.

Trying to decide if it's worth it to wait for Chicago and NYU to do another wave of waivers in October or to just suck it up and submit now with the hopes that my app might be read earlier. That's 170 extra dollars though

Just found this thread!

International applicant, taking the September LSAT tomorrow (but will definitely have to retake in December, because I'm currently scoring way below my goal in PrepTests). No idea what I'm doing but will hopefully figure it out as I go along. There are no prelaw advisors here so you guys will be a big help to me.

Did you look at your NYU app for a hidden waiver?

Are you sure is it worth if you are scoring "way below" your goal? Let me be honest, as internationals we are evaluated strongly on lsat basis. According to mylsn and spreadsheets, no one gets in under 168 and actual chances start at 170+. What is your goal? You should aim for a 173+- to have a 30-40% chance to get in, and you are strong above 175.

Eh might as well use a take to get accustomed to how the test feels. It's worth it at least for the experience under real conditions IMO

I wanted to add this but I forgot it! If OP doesn't have a lot of experience with testing conditions then yes, it might be useful!

Thanks guys!

I've booked flights (it's unavailable to take in my country in September) and paid for the test already. So, I'm just going to go anyway for the experience (& so it's not a complete waste of money). I'm pretty comfortable taking it "for real" in December because I've been told on this forum that schools only look at your highest score.

Do you guys know what could account as Award/Honor in the education section? Like merit-based scholarships or graduating cum laude is something I should insert here?

I just put down my dean's list awards. Left off merit scholarships since most of those were based off of high school grades.

PS I should be able to get to your PS tomorrow, been a bit busy.

I'm a c/o 2022 applicant but just wanted to sneak in here. Anyone know if law schools can see if you've opened their apps? I want to take a peek at the applications but don't want them to start thinking about me yet.
