This actually doesn't work for me either. When I click hidden and navigate elsewhere, it's still public when I go back to settings. Weird.Bojack93 wrote:MyLSN-->Settings-->Profile Visibility. I gave it a shot in IE and Edge after Chrome and it's all the same.Bojack93 wrote:Which browser are you using? Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
So this is some speculation that is 90% wishful thinking on my part.
We all know that this cycle is one of the most competitive cycles to date, what with the huge influx of high LSAT scores and some notable T14s accepting the GRE. But what if, contrary to normal supply and demand rules, this is good for people with high LSAT numbers?
The reasoning goes: Everyone knows there are a lot of high LSAT scores this cycle. Schools will take this chance to to increase their medians and maybe get themselves bumped up a ranking or two. Even schools that don't feel the need to do this however, will be forced to as they're going to have to expect that other schools will. Kind of like a prisoner's dilemma. Therefore, outside of the T6 (and hopefully even within) admissions offices will be forced to put higher weight on the LSAT than it will on other factors, more so than previous years, due to the volatility a sudden influx of high scores may cause. Lower T14 schools will feel the need to lure the high scorers away as soon as they can, with as much punch as they can, while the high ranked schools may feel pressured to not lose their normally secured lovelies.
Like I said, this is more a "pleeeeeeeeease pleeeease let this be the case" thinking on my part, as an international whose most notable soft is "I played soccer in school. It was fun".

Spivey said this was a distinct possibility, actually. It’s definitely reasonable.feralflamingo wrote:So this is some speculation that is 90% wishful thinking on my part.

My feelings are not hurt. I'm expecting a rejection or waitlist from 2/3 of the schools to which I applied. But if you don't play, you can't win.Piggy11 wrote:That sucks . Hope it wasn't anywhere you had your heart set on.rowdy wrote:I just got my first rejection! Glad to get that out of the way.

Did anyone actually list out all the schools you're applying to when asked? I always skipped those since they weren't required, but now I'm wondering if they're gonna think that's shady

I just put the peer schools I'm applying to down for any school that asked.mistakepluskeleven wrote:Did anyone actually list out all the schools you're applying to when asked? I always skipped those since they weren't required, but now I'm wondering if they're gonna think that's shady

Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
Does anyone know if there's ever been a definitive breakdown of what various numbers of $ mean when discussing scholarship offers?
I've got my own interpretation based on context, and wondered how well it matches up with others:
$: a small scholarship, less than $10K/year
$$: a modest scholarship, $10K/year or more, but less than $100K total
$$$: a big scholarship, at least $100K total, but not quite a full ride
$$$$: a full tuition or more
How are other folks using these terms?
(Edited to correct a math error.)
