So, when do you think they'll start taking people from the waitlist? After the second seat deposit deadline?

they made their first offers last year on May 10th. people got date changes on the 4th or 6th. DLS the 9th, In on the 10th.

I hope to join you all soon. I don't even remotely understand why NYU wouldn't just waitlist me already given my stats, but it's been a cycle of consistent failure and underperformance for me, so I don't even know anymore. Not a single straight up acceptance with an LSAT ticking the 75th percentile box for most of the T13, including NYU (and I thought NYU especially love that). Ding time? So confused.

When I look at the caliber of applicants getting waitlisted on lsn, I can't help but think two things:
1. Damn is NYU trying to make moves in the rankings?
2. I'm probably not making it in off the waitlist.

Does anyone have thoughts on LOCI timing? I don't want to overwhelm the admissions office this week while they are still getting back to people...at the same time, aren't they going to start reviewing wait listed candidates next week already?
